With the Welsh local elections on the horizon, I conducted an investigation into how the homeless voted, and was surprised to discover that voting for those living on the streets was near impossible for a number of reasons. I discovered that a proportion of British citizens were disenfranchised in the current political system, simply because they had nowhere to call home.

I interviewed numerous homeless individual to write this piece, as well as those in the local Cardiff community who wanted to do something about this, and discussed the topic with local charities to see what could be done.

Released the day before the election, it had high engagement numbers, and led to a lot of people reaching out to me to learn more about the issue. Along with the article report, I produced a short time-lapse style video highlighting the issue (made using Premiere Pro and After Effects), which was posted on social media.
